Aquila ka Hecate said...: I almost couldn't watch that- I found myself turning my head away quite often. And I live in a very violent society- I thought I could take it.

I found myself so angry, but angry for a little while with the woman, too.
The man I just wanted to see disappear into the ether.

The abuser in my childhood was my mom, and it was always everyone else's fault when she went on a rampage. Sadly, I think the abusers really believe that.; 5:46 PM
Anonymous said...: I think I saw this on Dateline or something of the ilk. Aside from the tape, one of the things to convict the SOB, is that her boss noticed something was wrong, and when the women refused to talk about the abuse, she started making notes on her calendar to when the woman came in bruised which was admitted as evidence when the woman finally ready to get out and be helped.
