Colors


My madcap friend, R., was just explaining this Hindu festival to me on Wednesday at dinner, after dancing.

    I saw a reference to this on television last Thursday. They showed this festival, which seems so joyous and playful, and compared it to the "whipping of sinners" done by Christian mummers in certain Latin American countries just before Easter.
