Damn straight. I was around for the Vietnam mess, and it's the same old song. Sing along--you know the words: There's light at the end of the tunnel. All we need are a few more months, a few thousand more troops, a few thousand more dead Afghanis, and the corrupt puppet government that we've been propping up will become a true, strong democracy and we'll be able to declare victory and bring the troops home in glory.
He is doing exactly what he promised he would do in the campaign, something that most of his supporters understood. I'm fine with that. Plus, we are still withdrawing troops from Iraq.

ReplyDeleteTHEN, I couldn't believe all the people saying, "He campaigned on this, he said he'd expand Afghanistan!"
