[F]undamentalism spirals deeper and deeper into its own narrow shell, becoming so narrow and dense that it triggers its own gravitational collapse and becomes a sucking black hole in the fabric of society. The problem is that these social singularities don't just suck each other up - they create new social singularities in a spreading pattern . . . .
