with a culture that refers to its gentials -- the organs that create life and give intense pleasure -- as junk.

Makarios said...: I think it's a guy thing--and not just any guy thing. Based on an admittedly small and non-random sample, I believe that a guy who refers to genitalia as "junk" will probably be sporting one or more of:

- A mullet
- A bad porn-star mustache
- A white sleeveless undershirt worn as outerwear

Also, at any given time, he probably won't be in a relationship. Again, based on a non-random sample. YMMV, as they say.; 1:20 AM

I mean, I certainly agree that there are lots of things wrong with this culture, but I wish to offer as a counter example to junk-for-genitalia, the woman who has put some effort into choosing just the right dress, fixing herself up to her prettiest, then, when receiving compliments on her dress, demurs with, "What? This old thing?"

I actually prefer 'junk' to 'family jewels' ;-); 10:55 AM
