Incredible strength being exhibited here in both the male dancer and the two female dancers. That pointe work is soooo hard and the one dancer holds her pointe for a very long time. I teach guitar in a dance studio and when I have a break between lessons I often observe some of the classes, especially the ballet ones. One day I was watching a pointe class the girl nearest me was practicing holding a long pointe movement and I could see tears coming down her face. Sobeit
I'm a woman, a Witch, a mother, a grandmother, an eco-feminist, a gardener, a reader, a writer, and a priestess of the Great Mother Earth. Hecate appears in the
Homeric Ode to Demeter, which tells of Hades who caught Persophone
"up reluctant on his golden car and bare her away lamenting. . . . But no one, either of the deathless gods or of mortal men, heard her voice, nor yet the olive-trees bearing rich fruit: only tenderhearted Hecate, bright-coiffed, the daughter of Persaeus, heard the girl from her cave . . . ."

Thank you for this. And best regards to you, and to your DiL, for today's celebration of Motherhood.
The percentages would increase in course of time. Useful information indeed. Thanks.
