Oh!!! I LOVE the Spankers!!! Have been a fan of theirs for over 8 years now! I have sadly missed seeing them the last few times they hit Houston (bad timing on my part...but my heart was there). About 4 years ago, I saw them play the (now One Eyed Jacks) Shim Sham Club in New Orleans, doing the music for the fabu Buster Keaton silent "Steamboat Bill Jr." It was beyond superb and soooo much fun! I think my Yule gift for myself and friends will be for all of us to see them here. :) And for all the Witchiness that I possess, I can happily say they did put on a wonderful Sunday Gospel show (w/brunch) at an Austin restaurant. If you get the chance GO SEE THEM!!! :) Whammo is such a cool dude and Christina has a voice that is beyond equal.
