Saw the Chicago production last December - was quite impressed. However, I found out that the B'way version left out several interesting (sexual) elements that were in the novel.
It'll be interesting to see if the movie will add those, or not.

"up reluctant on his golden car and bare her away lamenting. . . . But no one, either of the deathless gods or of mortal men, heard her voice, nor yet the olive-trees bearing rich fruit: only tenderhearted Hecate, bright-coiffed, the daughter of Persaeus, heard the girl from her cave . . . ."

I read the book and liked it, so i am pretty excited to see the play.
You should read the book and see the play hecate, if you haven't all ready.
