I am trying to decide if I can go see this. Seeing it on the news was bad enough...I couldn't return to Seattle for more than two years later just from continuing to watch the news coverage as it happened. I couldn't believe this was "my" big city...my shop/play home away from tiny-town home. :-(
Thanks Deborah...it is nice to know that it might make me feel better. Everytime I see Dave Reichert ads, I about puke, cause all I see is the image of him running cross a street during WTO with a baton in his hand...
I'm a woman, a Witch, a mother, a grandmother, an eco-feminist, a gardener, a reader, a writer, and a priestess of the Great Mother Earth. Hecate appears in the
Homeric Ode to Demeter, which tells of Hades who caught Persophone
"up reluctant on his golden car and bare her away lamenting. . . . But no one, either of the deathless gods or of mortal men, heard her voice, nor yet the olive-trees bearing rich fruit: only tenderhearted Hecate, bright-coiffed, the daughter of Persaeus, heard the girl from her cave . . . ."
