*puke* It isn't ME that's crossed the line. And I don't know one which who says that God doesn't exist. Most of them say he does and he's the consort of Her. And they are in many forms. We are not Godless we are Godinfinite
Have you ever read the Discworld books? The citizens of Ankmorpork (an important city-state) generally don't like the Ephebians who live in an ancient Greek-like city. They often refer to them as "those godless Ephebians," but as Commander Vimes (a hero in the series) often rebuts with: "If anything, they have too many gods."
I don't know if it's quite projecting, but the rantings of that madman are certainly from ignorance.
I'm a woman, a Witch, a mother, a grandmother, an eco-feminist, a gardener, a reader, a writer, and a priestess of the Great Mother Earth. Hecate appears in the
Homeric Ode to Demeter, which tells of Hades who caught Persophone
"up reluctant on his golden car and bare her away lamenting. . . . But no one, either of the deathless gods or of mortal men, heard her voice, nor yet the olive-trees bearing rich fruit: only tenderhearted Hecate, bright-coiffed, the daughter of Persaeus, heard the girl from her cave . . . ."

He sounds like a Glenn Beck of the Christian movement.

My goodness, he does love to hear himself talk! I feel sad for him because he is obviously not happy in this life, or with himself.
If this is what being a "Christian" does to you and for you, maybe it should be rethought.
Ignorance is bliss....right?
