Show Up

Some people think that if they show up and vote, they've done their job as citizens. Those people are wrong. Democracy is a participation event.

Here in northern Virginia, Congressman Moran is holding a town hall meeting on Health Care Reform. The guest speaker will be Dr. Howard Dean. Tuesday, Aug. 25th, 7:00 pm at South Lakes High School, 11400 South Lakes Dr., Reston. Open to the public. Limited seating. Doors open at 6:00 pm.

If you live in or near northern Virginia, come take a seat away from the batshit insane crazies who've been showing up to intimidate members of Congress.
