Thank you for reminding me to breathe. I finally have to slow down tomorrow to go to the orthopedic surgeon to see what damage I have down to my knee from mindlessly hurrying around. Right now I have my dog curled up at my side and my cat purring on my shoulder. No better way to slow down than that.
I'm a woman, a Witch, a mother, a grandmother, an eco-feminist, a gardener, a reader, a writer, and a priestess of the Great Mother Earth. Hecate appears in the
Homeric Ode to Demeter, which tells of Hades who caught Persophone
"up reluctant on his golden car and bare her away lamenting. . . . But no one, either of the deathless gods or of mortal men, heard her voice, nor yet the olive-trees bearing rich fruit: only tenderhearted Hecate, bright-coiffed, the daughter of Persaeus, heard the girl from her cave . . . ."

OK, I can take a hint. I pulled the Breathe card this morning and have read 2 different blog posts in as many hours telling me to breathe.
Apparently I need to slow the hell down.
I can feel the water calling to me....a hot bath under the Full Moon in Cancer.
