The past few weeks have been v rainy, and these amazing orange mushrooms have sprouted all over the Western side of my yard. Anyone know what they are? I love that they are orange for Halloween.

Wow they are incredible! I've never seen orange mushrooms before. Beautiful :)
If I knew what color the underside was, I could identify them for you. If they are orange underneath, they could be jack o'lantern mushrooms Great picture here If the gills are white, they're probably in the amanita family. Chanterelles are orange too, but they're the wrong shape and it's the wrong time of year.
I'm a woman, a Witch, a mother, a grandmother, an eco-feminist, a gardener, a reader, a writer, and a priestess of the Great Mother Earth. Hecate appears in the
Homeric Ode to Demeter, which tells of Hades who caught Persophone
"up reluctant on his golden car and bare her away lamenting. . . . But no one, either of the deathless gods or of mortal men, heard her voice, nor yet the olive-trees bearing rich fruit: only tenderhearted Hecate, bright-coiffed, the daughter of Persaeus, heard the girl from her cave . . . ."
