It's important to realize that, for fanatics like that, the concept of wrong, as applied to their own actions, is as alien as the concept of minding their own business. Whatever they do is right, because they're doing it at the behest of their master Sauron (as Gus would say). They are completely unprincipled.
Of course, this does not stop them from lecturing others about morality, which makes them hypocrites as well.
One can't reason with such people. In the Bizarro World in which they live, the normal principles of reason and logic simply don't apply. The best that one can hope to do is to neutralize them.
I'm a woman, a Witch, a mother, a grandmother, an eco-feminist, a gardener, a reader, a writer, and a priestess of the Great Mother Earth. Hecate appears in the
Homeric Ode to Demeter, which tells of Hades who caught Persophone
"up reluctant on his golden car and bare her away lamenting. . . . But no one, either of the deathless gods or of mortal men, heard her voice, nor yet the olive-trees bearing rich fruit: only tenderhearted Hecate, bright-coiffed, the daughter of Persaeus, heard the girl from her cave . . . ."
