Christine Kane:
"Ask yourself: What does 'thrive' mean to you?"
What does it mean today?
If yourself from a year from now were to visit you today, what one change would you really wish that you'd gone ahead and made?
"Thrive" is a key magic word for me. One simple spell I often do is to use it as a password for various accounts, websites, etc. I've long used the 9 of Pentacles as a meditation on this point.
But, first, you have to figure out what "thriving" means.
What does it mean to you?

Post Script: I spent today at home, working w/ Landscape Guy and his crew, doing some serious practical magic in my yard. If you'd asked me some time ago what thriving would look like for me, today would have been a good examplar. I want to get Landscape Guy a really nice Greenman, either a plaque or a statue or a talisman. Not a tacky one. If anyone can suggest a source, I'd be grateful.

The word "Thrive" means to live and grow to me, I once heard the quote "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give". If you are not giving in this life you will not "thrive". You may exist but, you will not thrive.
Well I'm not sure I agree with that but then I'm a woman and a feminist and I know that I am always expected to give of myself even if (especially if) it is to my own detriment. So—
But as for 'thrive'. It's my name, deliberately chosen several years back, when I had the whole thing legally changed. 'Thalia' means She Who Thrives or Luxurious One or She Who Brings Flowers or She Who Causes the Flowers to Grow or Luxurious Growth or any of a dozen variations on that theme. Interesting name meaning for a Muse, the one Who inspires comedy, don't you think?
Sacred Source (for the Greenman)
