The Sirens are a regular part of the NYRF, "my" local faire. Lara, the Siren in the center, has played Maid Marion at the faire for the last couple of years.
Ah, yes. I think that's Amanda on the left, Lara in the center, ans Emily on the right. To the far right, Karen and Robin are sitting this tune out. Not sure who that is on the far left, can't see clearly. We like the Sirens.
I'm a woman, a Witch, a mother, a grandmother, an eco-feminist, a gardener, a reader, a writer, and a priestess of the Great Mother Earth. Hecate appears in the
Homeric Ode to Demeter, which tells of Hades who caught Persophone
"up reluctant on his golden car and bare her away lamenting. . . . But no one, either of the deathless gods or of mortal men, heard her voice, nor yet the olive-trees bearing rich fruit: only tenderhearted Hecate, bright-coiffed, the daughter of Persaeus, heard the girl from her cave . . . ."

Love the Sirens of Stirling and their version of this. It was also fun to see a video of friends here.
Lavanah,
You know them? I'm a big fan!
